Looking for advice on finding a job?

My best guess, without knowing more, is that waiting to hear back is the problem. While employers should respond to you, they rarely do -- jobs go to the persistent candidates who keep following up. Also, most career coaches agree that networking is the only good way to find a job, and that the worst way way is applying online. Do some research at your local library on networking, or find a local job seeker support group that can teach you. It's a technique that can help you for the rest of your career. Good luck!
